How long we retain your data
For users who register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile indefinitely, or until they request deletion of their account. Your Search Index Data
Your search index data refers to the pages, posts, or products on your website that are transmitted to SuperSearch to create a highly efficient and searchable catalog. This data is exclusively utilized to fulfill search requests. Only information that is publicly available on your website, such as data published on your web pages, is stored in the search index.
SuperSearch does not extract your data for any purpose other than generating search results. Periodically, we may utilize search data for testing new search technologies, including the development of new AI-enhanced search capabilities.
It’s important to note that your search index data could potentially be shared with third parties, but only with your explicit consent, typically through an opt-in mechanism. For instance, SuperSearch might offer integration with OpenAI, in which case you would provide your OpenAI API key, and data would be transmitted to OpenAI solely for the purpose of enhancing search functionality.
When you opt to delete your website from within the SuperSearch administration console, your search index data is permanently erased and cannot be recovered. However, in cases where accounts are canceled without deleting their search index data, the data will be truncated to adhere to the limits of the free plan and will remain on our servers until the account is terminated. We do reserve the right to delete data or accounts that have been inactive for an extended period.
