Vehicle Valuation Website Using API

Overview

We were approached by a client who needed a simple yet efficient vehicle valuation website that could integrate seamlessly with an external API. The goal was to allow users to enter their vehicle registration and email address, retrieve valuation data from the API, display the result, and send email confirmations to both the customer and admin.

Our Approach

To deliver a high-performing solution, we developed a user-friendly interface that allowed seamless vehicle registration input. We integrated a robust API to efficiently fetch and process valuation data, ensuring accurate results for users.

Our backend logic was designed to store and display the retrieved values effectively, while an automated email notification system kept both users and administrators informed in real-time. • Technology Stack: For this project, we utilised Laravel as the primary PHP framework, ensuring a structured and scalable backend. The front-end was developed using HTML and CSS, providing a clean and responsive user experience. We also integrated an external API to fetch real-time vehicle valuations and implemented an automated email service to ensure users and administrators received instant notifications.
• Development Timeline: The project spanned from December 5, 2024, to January 8, 2025. During this time, we maintained a structured development process, providing consistent updates and making iterative improvements based on client feedback.
